I worked with the core team to design and prototype feasible interactions with future devices using Google ATAP's radar gesture sensor. Our work resulted in multiple gesture interfaces for different devices including the current version of Google's Nest Hub, thermostat and the Pixel 4 smartphone.
Working on it from the get-go and across different versions of the evolving sensor, we were able to go beyond conceptual work early on. I've researched a wide spectrum of use cases and developed working prototypes using the chip. By training these prototypes to work with self-designed gesture sets, we've generated actionable data that further improved the sensor and evolved the design of our interaction models.
